Annual Athletic Banquet Celebrates CHAH Student-Athletes

The CHAH Athletic Banquet returned in person this year! In the gym, CHAH honored its nearly 100 different athletes in 8 different Varsity Sports.

The student athletes had dinner and each team named its MVP, MIP and Teammate Award.

Congrats to Adrian Mejia and Sandra Diaz on winning the Senior Athlete Award for the 2021-22 season!

Girls' Middle School Basketball Team is Nothing but Net!

The CHAH Phoenix middle school girls basketball team had its first game this week!

The girls have been working very hard and showed their great improvement in a hard fought battle versus local rival WHEELS!

Thank so much to the Middle School after school program for their support-it was loud and clear!! What an exciting atmosphere!

Running Club does the Brooklyn Half Marathon!

This past weekend, the CHAH Running Club went to the Brooklyn Half Marathon in Coney Island and participated in the Boardwalk Kids Run. They ran one mile along the boardwalk and ended on the beach. Congratulations and well done, runners!

9th Graders Visit Washington DC

The CHAH 9th grade returned to Washington, DC this year after a brief COVID hiatus.

CHAH students saw many of the historic and wonderful sites DC has to offer-the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Martin King Luther Jr Statue, Washington Monument and many others!

The students were excited to connect what they learned in the classroom to real life!
