The CHAH Co-Ed Cross Country Team is off and running for the 2022 season! The team has had three meets so far, all at Van Cortlandt Park in The Bronx. Successful finished by sophomore Nicole Garcia and freshman Tiffany Cedeno Pena, as well as junior Jared Rodriquez are among the notable highlights so far.
Keep up the good work, Cross Country! Vamonos! Corremos!
The CHAH Class of 2022 had the highest graduation rate of any class in our school’s history: 95%! The article written in The New York Amsterdam News credited the students and their families’ incredible resilience throughout the pandemic, as well as the staff outreach and support.

The CHAH Athletic Banquet returned in person this year! In the gym, CHAH honored its nearly 100 different athletes in 8 different Varsity Sports.
The student athletes had dinner and each team named its MVP, MIP and Teammate Award.
Congrats to Adrian Mejia and Sandra Diaz on winning the Senior Athlete Award for the 2021-22 season!

The CHAH Phoenix middle school girls basketball team had its first game this week!
The girls have been working very hard and showed their great improvement in a hard fought battle versus local rival WHEELS!
Thank so much to the Middle School after school program for their support-it was loud and clear!! What an exciting atmosphere!
