The CHAH Cross Country Team, which is co-ed and has been rebranded as the CHAH Cross Country Workout Club, has participated in several meets so far this season. The boys and girls are off to the races!

The Wellness Club partners with New York Road Runners (NYRR) for opportunities to participate in free events to reach fitness and health goals. NYRR provides free races, transportation, incentives, and sneakers for nominated students who are in the program. CHAH was selected to receive additional shoes and close to 50 students were able to get free sneakers this year!

Japanese incarceration survivor and Vietnam War Veteran returned to CHAH to speak to our 8th grade Social Studies class on May 5th!
Takeshi Furumoto told his amazing story that started at the WWII era camps and now continues in his real estate business!
The students asked many excellent questions and had a chance to speak one on one with Tak afterwards!
