The 9th grade made their annual trip to Washington D.C. to see the many amazing and inspiring sights at our nation's capital.
The students went to the American History Museum, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial among others.
The students were excited to connect what they have been learning in United States History to what they saw in Washington D.C.
This past week, CHAH art students had their work on display at Focal Point Art Gallery on City Island in The Bronx.

Last week, the boys basketball team played at Barclay's Center on Saturday.
It was an exciting experience for our boys to play on a real NBA court!
Even though it was just a scrimmage, the boys played very hard and very well, winning the game 57-38.
CHAH high school students participated in High School Heroes: Junior Achievement Day on Tuesday, February 27th at PS 4 Duke Ellington School!
The program provides high school students the opportunity to become role models by becoming teachers for a day.
The CHAH students worked in teams of two or three and spent the day at PS 4. They taught a series of five fun and inspiring activities to the elementary students.
