The Tenement Museum and Yonah Schimmel's, Wednesday, July 29, 2015
/Today we went to the Tenement Museum in the Lower East Side. In the Museum there was this actor playing a role of a girl that migrated from Greece to the United States of America. The girls name is Victoria Confino. We were playing a role of an Italian Family that just migrated to the United States and was looking for advice on how to live in New York and a place to live. Then, we went to Yonah Shimmel’s for a surprise. It was Ms. Korn’s favorite place that she used to visit with her grandfather. We ate a tasty treat called a Knish. One was sweet and the other one was made of potatoes and then we add salt or mustard. Also this place has old pictures in the restaurant and it is 105 years old.
